5th Hungarian Folk Dance Camp in the UK

HELLO!

WELCOME TO OUR WEBSITE!

WE ARE GLAD AND PROUD TO ORGANISE AGAIN, IN 2024, THE HUNGARIAN FOLK DANCE CAMP, ONE OF OUR MOST SUCCESSFUL EVENTS, FOR THE 5TH TIME.
AS USUAL, THE CAMP WILL BE HELD AT THE END OF MAY BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND AT GAVESTON HALL, NUTHURST, UK.

WE HAVE INVITED PROFESSIONAL DANCE INSTRUCTORS AND AN AMAZING BAND, WHO WILL ENSURE VERY HIGH-QUALITY EDUCATION, ENTERTAINMENT, AND A GREAT ATMOSPHERE WHILE WE LEARN AND MASTER OUR DANCING SKILLS AND PARTY ALL NIGHT.
THROUGHOUT THE 3 DAYS OF THE CAMP, THERE WILL BE DANCE WORKSHOPS IN THE MORNING, IN THE AFTERNOON AND EVERY EVENING WE WILL HAVE A SOCIAL DANCE PARTY THAT LASTS UNTIL THE NEXT MORNING!

THE CAMP FEE ALSO INCLUDES ACCOMMODATION AND FOOD.

Read me:

Don't forget to pack:
- bedding and bed linen and/or sleeping bag, pillows, sheets, earplugs (anything you need for a good night's sleep)
- towels - besides showering think about the swimming pool and the classes
- several extra changes of clothes for the 4 classes + 3 social dancing parties
- dancing shoes - the floor is quite slippery, we recommend rubber-soled shoes
- swimming pants/dress
- torch and warm clothes for the night and campfire

Ladies, please bring a couple of textile handkerchiefs for some dances in the táncház.
It is the participant's own responsibility to inform the organisers and chefs if they have any food allergies.
Please provide this detail in the registration form. If you missed that, please email us asap.

Limited drinks will be sold at the campsite, there are no available shops nearby within walking distance.

Please ensure you bring your own alcoholic and soft drinks with you.

We will organise some fun team-building activities and group games on Monday at 11 am.

House rules: Only those are allowed to attend the camp, or join us for only a night of party, who have registered with us previously and paid the contribution fee!
We are looking forward to this fabulous bank holiday weekend, with more than 60 people attending the camp!

The camp is fully organised by volunteers of Hunique Dance Ensemble Leadership and Membership
